Andrew B. Zeigler, MCP

President

Founded Advanced Business Software Corp. (ABSC) in November 1977, and is currently Corporate President for Advanced Business Software Corporation. Andrew designed the accounting systems that ABSC sells and supports in RPG on the iSeries. Currently ABSC has over 150 customers in an approximate 120-mile radius of Savannah.

  • Graduated from Armstrong State College in 1977 with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science.
  • Experience includes programming in RPG II, RPG III, RPG IV, and SQL.
  • Has technical training from JD Edwards and is experienced in implementing JD Edwards.
  • Primary responsibilities are Project Manager, System Analyst, as well as Primary Trainer.

Vivian R. Long

Project Manager

Vivian joined the staff of ABSC in 1993 with previous experience in the software industry.  She has been a valuable asset to the company and has assumed more managerial responsibilities over her tenure with ABSC.

Vivian received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Mathematics from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia in 1991. She also received Master in Business Administration from the same university in 2001.

  • Experience includes programming in RPG II, RPG III, RPG IV, and SQL
  • Before joining ABSC, Vivian worked for a Savannah-based company where her duties included software support, installation, and training for a PC-based software package. She also worked programming in RPG for city and county government software.
  • Employed by Advanced Business Software Corp. as an iSeries programmer/consultant, performing custom programming and customer software support.
  • Primary responsibilities are Project Manager and System Analyst.

Todd Moyer

Sales Manager

Todd Moyer joined Advanced Business Software Corp. in 2006 as Sales Manager. Todd has been involved in sales & marketing since 1992.

 

  • Todd began his career with Kreller Consulting as Account Manager for a firm specializing in reducing costs for commercial credit information services.
  • Todd started in 1998 his career in Information Technology sales and services beginning as Sales Manager for Application Objects, Inc, a Cincinnati, Oh based technology firm servicing Fortune 500 companies.
  • Todd  moved to Savannah, GA in 2001 and worked as an Account Manager for PST, Inc, a Savannah based firm specializing in IT training.
  • He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL in 1991.

Claire Howell

Office Manager

Claire joined ABSC in 1998. Claire was a business owner for over 15 years with an emphasis on customer service. Since joining ABSC, Claire has received her MCP certification in Microsoft Retail Management.

 

  • She received an Associates degree from the Antonelli Institute of Art and Design in Philadelphia in Interior Design.
  • Prior to joining ABSC, she owned her own Interior Design Business.
  • Claire has assisted in RMS implementations as well as her duties as Office Manager.

Janell W. Morris

RPG Programmer

Janell joined the staff of ABSC in 1990 with emphasis on programming and customer support.

 

  • Graduated from the University of Georgia with Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 1975.
  • Experience includes programming in COBOL, RPG II, RPG III, RPG IV and SQL.
  • Before joining ABSC, Janell worked for several diverse businesses in the Savannah area, including the City of Savannah, Southeast Maritime Shipping Company, Savannah/Chatham Board of Education and St. Joseph’s Hospital, programming in COBOL and RPG.
  • Employed by Advanced Business Software Corp. as an iSeries programmer/consultant, performing custom programming and customer software support for daly.commerce and ABSC custom software packages.

Carolyn F. Watkins

RPG Programmer

Carolyn joined the staff of ABSC in 1993 with emphasis on programming and customer support.

 

  • Graduated from the University of Georgia in 1975 with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics and a minor in Statistics
  • Experience includes programming in COBOL, RPG II, RPG III, RPG IV and SQL.
  • Before joining ABSC, Carolyn was a COBOL programmer for the City of Savannah water systems and an RPG programmer for Data Enterprises. She designed and implemented software in COBOL for Union Camp wood systems and cost accounting programs.
  • She was employed by Advanced Business Software Corp. as an iSeries programmer/consultant, performing custom programming and customer software support for daly.commerce and custom ABSC software packages.

Jocelyn Eure

Consultant

Jocelyn joined ABSC in 2006 as a Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Consultant.

 

 

  • Jocelyn received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from Georgia Southern University in 2005.
  • Before joining ABSC, Jocelyn worked for a homebuilder as the accounts payable clerk.
  • Jocelyn obtained her Microsoft Great Plains Certifications in Financials, Inventory and Order Processing, and Report Writer in 2007.

Tammy Conley

Programmer

Tammy joined the staff of ABSC in 1988 with prior experience in the hardware side of the computer industry.

 

  • Tammy Received a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA in 1986.
  • Prior to joining ABSC, she was employed by Hewlett Packard as a Customer Engineer, performing field service on PC’s, printers, plotters and other peripheral devices.
  • Employed by ABSC as an RPG programmer, with experience in Visual Basic, Access and Workstation Basic.

Warren Williams

Programmer

Warren joined ABSC in April, 2009 as a .Net and ASP developer with experience in .NET, ASP, Classic ASP, SQL, Visual Basic, Delphi, Java script, html.

 

  • Warren attended the  IT program at Brunswick College from 1985 – 1987
  • US Navy 1989 – 1993 as Electronic Technician (ET2 rank/rating)
  • Warren worked as a self employed software developer / contract work from 2000 – 2008

Charles Opper

Programmer

Charles joined ABSC in March, 2011 with over ten years of development experience in commercial and custom software development.

 

  • Experience in ASP.NET application server development with recent .NET 4.0 usage.
  • Application development experience in Java, C/C++ and Visual Basic.
  • Previous Experience included  Lead Senior Software Engineer.
  • Charles attended Armstrong Atlantic State University with a BS in Computer Science.  He has completed Graduate Degree Courses at AASU.

Julie Scott

Programmer

Julie’s primary responsibilities include RPG programming and software development for Advanced Business Software Corp. customers currently working on the IBM iSeries.

 

  • 14 years experience in commercial and custom software development.
  • Julie attended Missouri State University, with a major in computer information systems.

Mary Beth Hebert

Project Consultant

Mary Beth joined ABSC in February 2008 after spending 25 years in finance and accounting with 15 years as a Corporate Controller.

 

  • Received a Bachelor of Science, concentration in Accounting, from Providence College in Providence, RI.
  • Received a Master of Science in Taxation from Bryant University in Smithfield, RI.
  • Worked in the Footwear and Apparel industry for 14 years. Obtained experience with Domestic Manufacturing, Job Cost, Standard Cost Accounting, Import Accounting and Valuation.
  • 7 years experience in the Yachting industry with experience in Project Cost, Progress Billing of fixed contracts and time and material contracts.
  • Since joining ABSC, Mary Beth has assisted with Microsoft Dynamics GP10 clients and provided accounting consulting for other clients.

Linda Dukes

Receptionist

Linda joined ABSC in June, 2008.  Linda is part of the customer support staff at ABSC. Linda’s responsibilities include seeing that every customer gets personal attention when they call our office.
